Short Term Caregiver
Hello. My name is Tzila. I am 66 years old. I worked for 4 years as a substitute nursing care worker at Vicho on King David Boulevard in Tel Aviv. In addition, when I took early retirement, I worked as a companion and assistant to an elderly Holocaust survivor in her home. I performed tasks such as: shopping and errands, cooking, accompanying her to concerts and plays, to meetings with friends and family. During the time when the lady was in serious health (due to OECD disease), I cared for her 24 hours a day. About two years ago she passed away. I took a break from caring for the elderly and worked as an accountant. I would like to return to accompanying elderly people and especially to be a listening ear and help alleviate loneliness.
